It makes me nostalgic for an era where a developer's overt racism and terrible perversions wouldn't be part of public knowledge and I could play a game where a rabbit solves math puzzles for carrots without knowingly abetting the darkest aspects of humanity.

Yeah... for me it was when I learned that John Romero went from cool hairdo while making Doom and Doom 2 to the mullet he wore during Daikatana's production run. That's when my faith in humanity was damaged beyond repair
