santi will never play for them again i'd say and has been injured for like two years so that's dumb. also actually there have been some minor things and lacazette but the team is so bad you kind of just don't notice anyway heh

Did you not read why? His loving ankle got infected so bad that they had to use skin grafts from his arm to restore some of the skin.. he almost lost his foot. I don't think that has anything to do with Arsenal but ok.

Hmm yeah i think a medical team is entirely unrelated to an affliction a player suffers

Santi’s injury was handled weirdly from the outset, but ultimately his career is over because got an infection from surgery and that’s not Arsenal’s fault.

There’s also the fact that Wenger overplayed Cazorla, leasing to the lengthy outlay to begin with. I know there’s a Cazorla interview out there where he said he was injured but kept playing because the boss needed him or some poo poo like that.

Didn't van Persie manage two full seasons starting regularly at United before he finally broke again? Also Clichy and Sagna seemed to lose any troubles after going to City. Whatever happened to Kieran Gibbs?

I remember reading that Wenger found a good training program for Van Persie which kept him fit and relatively injury free which he used in his final 1-2 seasons at Arsenal.
Wenger then told Fergie about it when he sold VP to United, so he was relatively injury free during his Fergies time at United.

Then Moyes came in and made VP do the same program as everyone else so he went back to getting injured all the time lol

Dunno if it’s true tho

West hams fans suffer from delusions of grandeur and genuinely think they are A Big Club because they produced some good youth played who hosed off to good teams and have "a massive fanbase" they recently moved into a massive new stadium and are insanely bad due to bad transfer policy and hiring bad managers over and over. They're just Newcastle but with angier fans essentially.

They got a free stadium paid for by the taxpayer and now they are throwing a wobbler because its not quite what they wanted and because they are 15th which is exactly where you'd expect them to be

Legitimate grievances are a stadium move that a lot of fans hate and feel sold out the club, and a transfer policy that is completely inept and probably the worst in the league.

Those things would cause problems at any team, but they're exacerbated at West Ham by the owners being such colossal twats. They're constantly in the news and on social media, making statements that alienate the players, overblown promises that are never kept, or finding creative new ways to embarrass the club. Because they can't just shut the gently caress up they turn the whole thing into a high drama and make themselves a lightning rod for fan anger.

There's also a big question about the amount of cash being extracted from the team in the form of interest on loans from the owners, while they loudly claim they never take a salary.

Also a lot of West Ham fans are really, really angry Essex bell-ends which doesn't help.

I’m a yank looking to get into PL football. Who should I adopt as my team? Ideally not one of the top teams, and one with good owners. Is there a well run low budget team that runs middle of the pack I can get behind? Is it Everton? Do I have to be an Everton fan?
