CANCEL 2018 - Merc are at least 3 tenths ahead of RB - Ferrari are losing time compared to Merc in all types of corners - at the end of Vettel's quali-run there wasn't a lot of fuel left according to the competitors, which means they would have only been about 1 tenth ahead of the Haas given that Magnussen used a considerably harder tyre (Binotto gave the Haas-garage a visit to see how much fuel they had onboard) - Binotto and Arrivabene looked worried during lunch break - Mercedes won't be going for quali-laps, they didn't even order any Hypersofts. They plan on using those at Monaco for the first time as there's nothing to learn in these temps. - Bigger gap between Merc and the rest than 2017, but not at the level of 2015/16 - Ferrari 3rd best car - Merc believe Renault haven't turned up their engine yet (good for RB, bad for Ferrari according to the article)
