It would make perfect sense for the May "big release" to be IA. From a graphic earlier this year, we know large Infininty splash releases are coming in May, at GenCon, and in November. The GenCon one they said was "something you've been asking for for a long time", which I take to mean it's either Vedic or Kazaks.

Yeah, it would be very odd to leave one of the biggest factions with only 1 sectorial and now missing a lot of model options. Plus I am reasonably sure that at one of the conventions last year they flat out said that IA was coming this year.

Tell me how terrible a list this is, even though I want to love it: I like the idea of dropping two Yan Huo models on the table after deployment, but I feel like you can get more value out of the list by trading in Sunny T for a Celestial Guard LT, another Kuang Shi, a Killer Ninja, and still probably have enough points left for a snifferbot.

Tell me how terrible a list this is, even though I want to love it: if you really need an assault hacker in the list, consider Tiger Soldier to drop near enemy HI or TAG or Kanren masking as that same Shang ji, or Guilang to be in the midfield from the get go. Also you really need a Doctor and not a Paramedic - so you can park a Yaozao near Yan Huo and get them up when they get critted.

It means that Tohaa player's stats are exactly what's wrong with the faction. Murdered most of his opponents' armies the first two rounds, failed to accomplish squat last round. What was up Rhyno the Druze player's second round? He placed awfully high to have a complete zero match.

My LGS just got the Onyx Contact Force 300pt box in, and with that and the Combined Army Support Pack, a helpful player designed a pair of lists I can play almost entirely out of the box. Add to that the cool new proxy rules means I can use my slick new Szalamandra in place of an Overdron Batroid means I'm going to have a fantastic time putting together lists all week.  That I managed to pick up an entire new army for ~150CAD is insane, I love this game.
