The only pronoun you need is "comrade". Works for everything.

Using pronouns you aren't used to takes some practice but only an rear end in a top hat would double down when they make a mistake instead of just saying "oops, sorry". I have a trans friend who spent about a year going by "they" while she figured things out and mistakes happen but if you actually try you'll find it pretty natural surprisingly quickly. In conclusion, the comic is kinda dumb because it focuses on "pronouns are easy" instead of "intentionally getting it wrong is dickish"

I still struggle with the conjugation sometimes but I have no issue with making the attempt. I personally actually DO struggle with "they", not because I have an issue using it if requested but in my mind "they" is a term used when one is unsure of gender; it feels when I use it I'm creating some kind of quantum gender that will at some point be specified, thus negating the whole point of identifying as Genderqueer, Genderfluid etc. So I'm happy to use it but I actually prefer the weird specific pronouns because they feel like a clear statement of non-binary gender.

I used to know someone that preferred to go by ey/em. Some people like to affirm that they are gender-neutral rather than use pronouns that could also apply to people who are male or female. You probably don't need to actually learn them unless you meet someone who goes by them, though.

Well it's possible I'm the obtuse one but in my personal experience, intentionally using they for a person who your brain had previously associated with a gendered pronoun is significantly harder than using singular they for situations where you've been using it your whole life. Maybe it's different when you first meet them while they're going by they. e: the strawman is a dick because he doubled down but the strawman-owner took the wrong approach in their owning

Attorney General Jeff Sessions finally woke up. He intends to stop California’s open border policy. Not only is Governor “Moonbeam” Jerry Brown not enforcing our immigration laws, he and other lefty loons have actively been trying to suppress enforcement. This was apparently enough to snap Sessions out of his slumber. What will happen next could involve a long legal showdown, but for cartoon purposes I’ve boiled it down to a gun battle, and Brown lacks the firepower. —Ben Garrison

I like how Zyklon Ben's caricature of Moonbeams is having him literally embody California. Jerry Brown represents the state of California in a way that nobody else can emulate in Ben's world. Not even Manly Sun-God Trump can pretend to represent the USA as much as Brown represents California. Which also means that in his rants, when Ben criticizes and insults Jerry Brown, he does that to all Californians. Also I love the completely stupid detail of the vintage chimney being duct-taped while solar panels have been added. "Take that, California, you stupid modern-technology lovers who think you're too good for carbon monoxide poisoning!"
