Yeah, the Seahawks look like they need a rebuilding year. Too many hosed up drafts meant they spent a ton of capital last year to try one more push with this core. It didn't work, so here we are. Whether they come out stronger really depends on how well Schneider does going forward, but if he's lost his edge the Hawks are screwed anyway. Just hope they can get some youth in and make the team fun again. Watching the offense for the last two seasons was like chewing glass.

Ninernation has the deal at #39M overall, $5M signing bonus, and functionally a team option third year. Assuming it is structured with a lot of the money in weekly roster bonuses like they usually do, there could be a lot of Achilles protection in this contract.
