Normally the old translations stick (we didn't flip over to calling her Frandoll) and I don't mind but man am I happy that Eiki's name isn't 4 times longer anymore

After finally playing through AoCF's story, I must say that was quite entertaining. There was a fair amount of complaining about the inclusion of Tenshi and Yukari but they had some great moments with the new characters and Tenshi comes off way more as the troublesome brat she was meant to be. The new bosses are pretty good characters too, although I like Jo'on way more for her attacks. Burning money and fan dancing should be more common in fighting games.

I like how you can tell the Three Fairies artist is also a huge turbo-fan because he uses crowd-shots as an excuse to draw cameos 100% of the time, instead of random villagers. Though on the other hand that does make the world of Touhou feel a bit smaller in the works he's involved in.

After DBZ Fighters, I really want Arcsys to do a Touhou fighting game. 3v3, online play, etc. Too bad that's going to remain a most likely permanent dream.

So with bookstores not giving a gently caress about release dates and just selling things as soon as they get them, I went and picked volume 2 of Forbidden Scrollery. From a quick glance through they kept the Hiedano thing with character names (Kokoro Hatano in this case) though they actually do provide a translation note in the back to explain it this time. Good news everyone I've finally done the math and run all the numbers and compiled a completely scientifically accurate list of (only stage & boss) Touhou music. Some of it surprised me too, but hey, can't argue with science. (Click on this to see all of it I'm not gonna post a huge rear end image of the whole thing)  Also I didn't realize I didn't check the box for ISC until I was way too far in to back out. Romantic Escape Flight would be a top 20 for sure
