In Sweden, drug users are put to death through mandatory overdose. E: spoilering this for sensitive viewers, here's an image of an execution in progress. Woebin has a new favorite as of 23:02 on Mar 16, 2018 |

0.1% seems pretty drat low all the same. Thats equivalent to the number of deaths caused by say... really really good sex. Probably.

Thanks for reminding me its about that time for the yearly The Wire binge. \/ Having random testing in any public location would have Americans on both sides of the aisle so united against it, it'd be like 1776 again. pro starcraft loser has a new favorite as of 03:43 on Mar 17, 2018 |

Xun posted:Whoops, guess I was misinformed by my friends although it sounds like the charge is just a fine instead of instead of a fine and jail time. If anybody cares possession of pot is criminalized in Sweden. That being said any possesion under 50 grams is considered to be for recreational use. (If you are not caught selling it red handed, then you can still be charged for dealing). While imprisonment or youth detention is technically on the books for recreational possession it is not used. It is never used for first time offenders and the standard punishment for possession of a smaller amount of cannabis is 30 "days" worths of fines. By Swedish law most fines for criminal acts are calculated based upon your monthly income after taxes with a minimum of 3000 SEK (roughly 365 USD) for cannabis drug possession regardless of income. The upper limit is ten times that so it can get quite pricy if you have a high wage. Regarding actual enforcements all I know is that cannabis use hasn't been a priority for law enforcement since all regional police forces were absorbed into a central national police force in 2015. I don't work with criminal proceedings but most cases of possession I hear of are incidental in the sense that somebody happens to be carrying pot on them when arrested for other crimes. There have been some, in my opinion, legally dubious cases of large scale testing at raves but that is very rare and I do not believe it is targeted at cannabis use. In my personal, anecdotal, experience I have been at several forest/old railway tunnel raves where police have showed up to check on things but I have never seen somebody arrested, even people who have quite clearly been stoned or otherwise high. Hell I called the cops to tell them a man was doing hard drugs( GHB or gamma-Hydroxybutyric acid) in a candy store once. He was spilling the drug over pieces of candy which is the reason I called them and they asked me if he was bothering anyone. Balder has a new favorite as of 13:38 on Mar 17, 2018 |
