I mean that is one of the strengths we have/had even when we were just a protest party, that we can put up these good policies on things such as negative gearing and banking royal commissions and Labor would follow.

I'd prefer a minor gov by the Marshall for a single term, so he can gently caress poo poo up- and piss everyone off, so the ALP can sweep in for another 16 years the term after. If ALP win this time round.... It's gonna be a disaster next election.

Except they'll probably stop renewable development, maybe even cause it to go backwards. First power outage after Labor get back in is blamed on renewables, continuing death is certain

Greens concede Batman byelection to Labor
Adam Bandt has taken the stage at Alex Bhathal’s party and says preferences went against the Greens.

But he is claiming victory in making climate change an issue across Australia.

Party leader Richard Di Natale said it was a very “tight run race” but “because of all the preferences of all the hard right parties...that we are just going to fall short tonight”

RDN is probably the worst thing to happen to The Greens and they are lucky there isn't wind behind such experiments like the Victorian Socialists because a true and well funded socialist party would mop the floor with this centrist flirtation going on.
