It�s a dirty job but someone definitely, absolutely has to do it to keep the streets safe. But even heroes get tired and Samfreez wants to be a mod, he needs the power or these �concern trolls� will overrun the sub and usher in a new age of FUD.

Because the fate of Star Citizen will definitely be decided by the contents of that ridiculous subreddit and not decisions taken by the management dream team.

And then that lunatic SilentRuin came in and said likes the �concern trolls� so he can type his barely comprehensible nonsense because he thinks he�s some kind of enforcer.

And then someone, Samfreez, I think, regretted that MrHerpDerp�s karma takes a hit when people get annoyed with his patronising stock replies.

Man, that place is funny.

And 3.1 is coming soon with no performance increases it seems.

Bored really turned the thumbscrews on Erin following his questions with lines like �Blue Sky thinking, I�m not going to hold you to it...� and Erin was pretty much defenseless in the face of all the games journalism he was being hit with.

It seems like a very good thing for the project that of all the new mechanics coming this year, the one Erin cited being most excited about was Land Claim$. It�s a very positive thing when a scope creep inspiration that hit only last year can get fast tracked for quick release. (If the female models have to take a backseat to that then well, they�re more than used to it by now.) The thrills of flying around a moon of my choosing and sticking a technothingie in the ground so that MY land is a safe space free from PVP action are so palpable to the imagination and I can only imagine how exciting it must be for Erin Robert$ to see that system implemented.

I've never posted a recipe either, but as a recent convert to the flat iron cut of steak, I shall now post how I prepare them.

Flat Iron Steaks

1.
Get your flat iron steaks out of the fridge at least a half hour before starting, let it warm up a little toward room temperature.

2.
Pour a generous amount of olive oil into a baking tray or oven dish, season it with salt and black pepper - use a good amount. Crush a few fresh garlic cloves and add them in. Stir it up.

3.
Marinade your flat iron steaks in there for about 20 mins. Flip them over, move them around, get them coated. Flat iron absorbs a ton of flavour very quickly.

4.
Get a pan on high heat. As hot as you can get it. No need to add any oil.

5.
Steaks in the pan and don't touch them. Straight from your marinade and into the pan.

6.
I like to do 3 mins on each side. That gives me a nice char on the outside and a succulent juicy pink in the middle. Adjust this to your preference. If you like the middle cooked more, give them another 2 mins of 30 sec a side and keep flipping them.

7.
Remove from the pan and let them rest for a minute or two.

8.
Carve into slices against the grain of the meat. Quite thin. You're looking for even slices with a nice tasty charred edge and a pinky moist middle. Mmm.

9.
They should be tasty and tender as all hell.

10.
I never make a sauce or a jus (which is a pretentious sauce). What I like to do instead is put a big dollop of freshly made pesto (the fresh stuff mind, not that gloopy stuff you buy in a jar) and lay the slices of steak on top. You get that flame grilled char flavour, the meat flavour, a bit of garlic and the nice cool freshness of the basil pesto.

I love this cut of meat, definitely make sure you get a matured one. This is very different from how I would cook a sirloin or a fillet, where I'd have butter and herbs in the pan and wouldn't go for a full char, just a nice brown caramel. They really respond to a good hard loving in the pan and still stay very tender and moist.

It was interactions with a couple of those guys on reddit that drove me to post here in the first place.

That's my Star Citizen Something Awful Comedy Forum story, that literally just summed up everything else I wanted to say and explains all of my posts in one sentence.

So welcome and just post. There's actually a diversity of opinion and ideas on here and it's almost (almost) always entertaining and at times outright hilarious.

Maybe a day or two of early release to a handful of the most active players to make sure there's no game breaking bugs, that would make sense. A month of selective release based on subscriptions, that seems to undermine the nature of kickstarter alpha releases. Cymelion is generally correct on that criticism.
