I'm at least going to try: Cutie Honey Universe Golden Kamuy Hinamatsuri Lupin III Oshiri Tantei  Wotaku I'm watching Asagao to Kase-san and I'm continuing to watch Boruto, because I'm committed to finishing it. If nothing's good this season, I'm going to use it to catch up on stuff I've missed since I've gotten back into anime after a couple years off.

Apparently there's a fight between Madhouse and the original Boogiepop Phantom artist who has been working on the LN series for 20 years. Wonder if this will interfere with the series? i mean if the original author gets involved he might be able to have some push/pull but the original artist wouldnt really be able to have any power, and the fact that they've already announced it means that production committees and stuff are already on board. plus the pv already had finished animation so its probably too late in the game to retool the designs that heavily. imo the artist seems like kind of a jackass. not showing him the designs at all is a little lovely but 'i sent them a bunch of random messages on twitter and they didn't reply, time to blow the gently caress up'

this season has a lot of wild cards for me. currently i am most looking forward to: devils line: the manga was insanely good and the whole time i read it was thinking wow they just adapt this it would be a good anime so as long as they don't gently caress it up completely it should be solid sword art online: gun gale online: sao is bad but studio 3hz have made 2 of my favorite anime (flip flappers and princess principal) with their small output already and its adapting the guy who wrote kino's journey and has basically nothing to do with sao proper. optimistic for: steins gate 0: first series was good hopefully this isn't bad regardless of the vn its adapting caligula: looks like dumbfuck stupid poo poo but fun magical girl site: this is basically my wheelhouse will try: magical girl ore: the pv i saw was weirdly dramatic for what is a premise is this a zombie did years ago persona 5: can i just watch this instead of wasting 300 hours playing the game
