I've seen people who are next to useless on other classes, but the moment they set up a Stamden they are able to hold their own pretty well. That's how overturned Stamden is at the moment. That's not even getting into someone who actually knows how to PvP.

Thinking about picking this up but it'd be through my Steam wallet and I've heard that the Steam version has a shitload of problems including installing twice, which is making me hesitant.

It doesn’t install twice. First launch has it unpack through steam, and after that the launcher itself unpacks. Takes like 15-20 minutes.

I went ahead and got the game. It's come to my attention that the game becomes noticeably worse both gameplay-wise and performance-wise whenever there are other players around which is funny for an MMO. Enjoying it otherwise.

I thought I could move my Imperial edition pre-order to steam but it tells me to get lost and buy a steam key. Which is reasonable from steams point of view but if they want to consolidate on one platform, they'll need to work on it.

It doesn't download twice but because of a stupid bug you need something like 200gb free to install the steam version. This is because it downloads the game in steam, and then after that the teso launcher checks to make sure you have enough space free to download the game, even though you already did. If you do, then it patches the game and you don't have to worry about that again.

In terms of PvE you'll get more overall DPS using DW/Bow over 2H/Bow. Using a 2H is absolutely viable but you'll get higher DPS gains out of DW.

I can't believe this game rejected the lore friendly Argonian name Jesus-on-a-Dino. I picked Templar and it seems I'm railroaded towards using 2H weapons. I didn't like it at first, but then I found out about the skill where you move very fast towards a skeleton and smack it. Currently my battleplan is to move very fast towards skeletons and smack them and then light them on fire. Am I doing something wrong, and if I am, does it actually matter? Also there seems to be a skill for capturing souls in gems, how essential is this and should I even bother?
