If you look inside of the cartridge, and you see a little plastic wick in the bottom, those are meant to be used with pens that run in the 3.2v to 3.4v range. Hotter than 3.4 volts with those can cause some burning of the wick, which will make your whole cartridge taste not great. If it has a metal pole running up the center, that usually means that there is a ceramic coil in it, which can tolerate much higher temperatures. 3.4v to 3.8v usually for those. Maybe a little higher depending upon manufacturer, and how exactly they made the cart.

Yeah, when in doubt, start low and go up. You can always increase the power, but you can't un-gently caress the atomizer.

mine just turns on and off, and it's doing its job wonderfully so i guess i don't think i'm missing out on anything with control. btw this CO2 extract oil is supposed to lack a bad taste that you get from solvent extraction and it tastes exactly like vaping girl scout cookies, but less dry. good times

If you've got AVB and some coconut oil (or really any sort of oil tbh) you should definitely consider infusing it with THC. Put em both in a mason jar, put the mason jar in a hot water bath for an hour (some recipes suggest doing it for like 12 hours but fuuuuuuuck that), freeze it overnight, hot water bath again, then strain and enjoy.
