He did what he wanted and even salvaged mankind by releasing hope to the world. The reboot reeks of Sony attempting to redeem Kratos' character, but it's WAY too late for that, even if you take into consideration the PSP games.

Man I finished the binary domain lp and that game is preeeeeetty dumb. Lot of neat concepts and the completely breakable enemy system is rad, but man that ending just went full cornball and pat is a hundred percent right in every way
