Robotics;notes the anime isn't terrible. I think a big issue was people went in expecting Steins;gate level stuff but it ended up being just ok.

Great article. Shame that this happens. I haven't watched any of this one, but another troubled production they mention (Just Because) really had a ton of potential that just didn't pan out because of similar problems. Tough industry.

just because imo was a little better because it was a much more writing-based show and also the fact that it didnt have any action scenes or anything like, super high intensity meant that they could resort to just extremely static shots that looked kind of bad but werent actively monstrous to witness unfortunately, marchen has neither of those available to them
