So...it seems almost certain that with Bolton in, Trump is going to try and strike North Korea. And if he strikes North Korea, they will almost certainly retaliate with nukes. Am I wrong? Despite what Bolton is saying ("We should strike before NK can reach the USA with nukes!") everything I have read says that NK already has miniaturized nuclear warheads and ICBMs that can hit mainland USA. So am I completely crazy or is it not a near certainty at this point that NK will nuke mainland USA? I suppose that is just a bonus for Bolton, since NK nukes will likely take out some west coast cities which are full of liberals. Anyone living in a major west coast US city preparing for this? Personally Mattis is the red line for me. If he gets canned, I'm heading for the hills.

Because, yanno, using nuclear weapons is a real good way to become existentially nonexistent. - South Korea and Japan (or US presence therein) or, you know, a US carrier group or something are more likely targets in the improbable evemt of the first two going badly.
