I like it. It's not gonna hook you like Breaking Bad or anything though but it's a great half paying attention to it background show.

That’s about my feelings on it. Though I was a little surprised at the ending. I was expecting Either Gary’s head to ‘play dead’ when recealed or to bite the policewoman and zombifying her.

I feel it’s best to watch it a few eps at a time while you’re waiting for your laundry to finish.

yeah I tried to get high before I started it last night and ended up having to get loving ripped before it started to get funny to me. even then, I think I've laughed way more during a good workaholics episode than the entirety of Game Over Man.

I just saw Red Sparrow (would not recommend) over the weekend and I think Game Over Man somehow had even more cheap, unnecessary nudity (though for entirely different purposes)

Does that mean season 4 started already? They usually line up with the Netflix release

No, looking like mid-summer. Production just started in January.

The Man From Nowhere is on Prime. It’s a very solid Korean action thriller, I would argue better than 90% of Hollywood action films.

I should give it a rewatch. It was overall kinda iffy, but all the McGill drama was A+. The Gus, Nacho, Salamanca stuff was kind of dull. I know where this goes. The how’s and why didn’t do much for me.

This is a correct opinion. I caught it when it was on Netflix a few years ago and it instantly became of my favorite action movies ever.

The scene where the main character is revealed to the viewer as a badass is probably my favorite bit of exposition ever and I love that it simultaneously kick starts the rising action. He's like a loving cobra.

E: this scene is also fkn nuts vv

The Man From Nowhere has a scene where the hero runs down a hallway and leaps through a second story window, and it is filmed by having the cameraman run down the hallway behind him and also leap through the window.

It's a pretty cool movie.

Queer Eye has unfortunately only been picked up so far for 8 more episodes, and won't premiere until next year. Given how quickly they must be able to film these episodes, I'm bummed that we won't get more, and sooner. Of course I am delighted to getting more at all.

Then again, what did in the original Queer Eye is that they spread themselves so thin. Starting on the then not at all watched Bravo, before Housewives was even a thing, the first 2 seasons had a whopping 55 episodes, and they even began airing them on NBC Must See TV Thursdays. And of course the spin off, Queer Eye for the Straight Girl, which was unwatchable.

It's not available in the US. You are filled with lies. Dammit. I was really excited for a minute.

edit wait what the hell there's like five versions of the same movie - one of them IS on Prime so, okay. It's all good.

Are there any other non-American reality type shows streaming that are worth watching? My wife and I have been on a Terrace House binge and would love to discover other shows that show some insight into a different culture. Having a panel that is hilarious like the Terrace House panel would be a bonus.

Any good atmospheric scifi films (Blade Runner, Moon, Alien, something I can get sucked into) on netflix that don't feature sexual violence?

alternatively good scifi films that are heavy on body horror (Cronenberg, Hellraiser).

Monsters? Directed by Gareth Edwards. Dangerous alien wildlife crashes into northern Mexico and makes the area uninhabitable. A newspaper photographer has to escort his boss's daughter through the quarantined zone in order to get a major payday, and get her home safely. Stars Scoot McNairy.

Spectral. That's a B-rear end B-movie. The scientist who embeds with a special forces squad equips the entire unit with plasma weaponry overnight using like magnets, car batteries, and duct tape.

But yeah, the movie should really be called special forces vs. ghosts: the movie.

Wild wild country was just about the best thing I’ve watched in a long time. Living in Oregon, and actually living within walking distance of the old Bhagwan hotel that was bombed.. sheesh it’s just all so unbelievable all that poo poo went down. Really well done portrayal of both sides and it was very emotional.

Is that story (the whole thing not just the hotel) well known in Oregon? I can't believe I had never heard any of it prior to watching Wild Wild Country.
