So happy I caught up in time to pile on! Like a few posters I chose Raven on my one big playthrough that got to marriage ( I always stall out at the unity festival anymore) so, as much as people couldn't come up with good writing to save their lives when voting for Sofia, I need to see the domestic life of a woman who won second place in a vegetable contest with a squid. Pia's at the end of her quest chain or close to it, so it shouldn't take long for Link to marry a mermaid.

I need to dig it up, but I recall from memory - the official popularity poll for RF3 has Sofia, Pia, and Raven as the top three Bachelorettes, so about the same as this thread. It's also a bit surprising as Japanese and Western players tend to have different tastes.

Hello, strange NPC man who was apparently lurking in the background this whole time.   More free time, more random monster-killing quests. This one had a pretty good prize, though!  Magic defense is getting increasingly important, and I end up buffing the bracelet up considerably. I'll end up swapping it in for combat purposes once we hit the Actual Endgame Dungeons.   After I fully upgrade it, it's only got slightly lower physical defense than the leather belt I was using for that purpose, but has much better attack and magic defense.   Fun fact: The season changes the instant you go inside after the midnight of the 1st. This includes snow blanketing everything out of nowhere.  The nice part of having so many regrowing Fall crops is that you get a lot of Withered Grass to till into the soil. I'm not sure if it completely makes up for the soil tiredness of having stuff growing in the same spot all season, but everything helps.  NEXT TIME: Turnip fight! Also Link gets engaged to a mermaid or something.

I am somewhat disappointed that you did not have an image for Link's "This [interaction with Marian] can only end badly." line, because nothing sums up her questline better than that. I do love when games have little completely missable sidestories that build a feeling of history and lived-in-ness, though, like the ketchup radishes. (If you can't cook/craft a ketchup radish to use in the event as an easter egg, what a missed opportunity.) I... I don't think that is true.
