The waste itself is a water slurry, it's not going to burn on its own. It may generate some methane over time, though, which is definitely combustible.

I'm surprised they had any room for it, frankly. Alabama's been completely full of poo poo for a long time.

Yeah, this is exactly how my Dad described zoning laws to me when I was a kid:

"You give up your right to process hog manure in your yard in exchange for ensuring no one else can, either."

That made a lot of sense to 6-year-old me.

I don't remember how old I was when my father first pointed out that the sun was so far away from earth that it could have gone out five minutes ago and we wouldn't know about it yet but young enough that it caused me some concern.

The 'second tractor' is the weight sled. You can see the ones used at the same event(as well as this truck in the background) here:

Here's a tractor with the same type of accident, it happens in pulling events occasionally:

If there's a transmission failure you suddenly have all the torque in the world twisting on a static rod. Depending on the situation and failure you'll either launch transmission parts out the bottom or send the engine out the top or some combination cause you've got all that power that needs to go somewhere beside spinning wheels.

I am a huge fan of self driving cars. Also I'm an engineer who watches videos about training self driving simulators using neural nets, I'm familiar with basic object tracking (Kalman filters) and know an okay amount about airborne radars. I also like Tesla and like Elon Musk. That said...

I test drove a Model S about 6 months ago and was VERY excited to try autopilot. I tried to trip it up and it took basically no trying.

My observations were:

If the road is free and clear an unchanging from it's "maps" it worked spectacularly.
If the road is congested but objects are moving particularly when moving slowly, it works very well.
If stationary objects in it's path, particularly when they require some deviation from their internal map and you're moving >20mph, you're in trouble. On a section of residential street with a 20mph speed limit there was some construction and the company put up a concrete barrier and chain link fence that caused the lane to shift left. It would've simply run right into it. I told the sales rep I was going to try it on this stretch and would be very careful and he was very nervous about this but said okay.

I 100% believe it has trouble with lane dividers.

I will likely eventually buy one, but won't buy one right now.
