indefinite delays are forgivable so long as something is actually in the works imo. coming from games like Day Z and PUBG i really couldn't care less so long as they are treating this like its their actual jobs. as it stands the combat and looting in this game is fun which is the core reason i even play it all. the economy will always be either broken or exploited and tbh its best to ignore it unless you are offloading items in bulk to free up space in your stash Skull Knight posted:What about the player scavs - do we still get better geared scav runs? I have a box of buttcoins and forts from going in with a hatchet and a dream on factory. I wonder what happens if you get a group of like 5 hatchetlings. Does that mean theres only 1 spawn? Can 5 hatchetmans kill a fort before his 60 round drum destroys all of us????????????? these are the real questions to be asked. Not when is the wipe, why is everyone so rich, or even when will the net code not be terrible????????????????????

People who think this say this is why we don't have some weapons we know are modeled but aren't yet in-game. I don't know if that's an even remotely compelling theory, though.

It actually is, a bit, in that it may take 100 coding hours to code a 'mag goes in gun, gun fires from mag, mag is reloaded' system, and another 100 hours to code a 'mag stays in gun, gun is loaded from loose rounds or clips, gun fires from internal mag' system, but then it will take another 100 coding hours to make sure that both systems work independently bug free, and another 100 hours to make sure there's no accidental overlap and they work bug free together. It's the obvious answer as to why the standard SKS with an internal magazine and loaded from stripper clips or individual rounds is not available, or bolt action rifles with internal magazines are not available, or revolvers. Lever actions can use the same code as pump action shotguns. edit: oh poo poo, no they can't - pumpies in Tarkov use a bastardisation of the magazine system, which is why you have to load the tube separately from the gun when you're in your stash. jizzy sillage fucked around with this message at 02:04 on Apr 6, 2018 |

For example, a revolver's cylinder would act like the pump action magazines do now. I mean, they probably could make it work that way, but kind of like you mentioned, it'd be silly for them to devote time to a workaround they plan to later make obsolete.

Honestly, for the price of the standard edition, you'd more than get your money's worth with EFT. You just have to have good inventory management skills, because you get the smallest stash size. Not an issue with weapon cases and item cases though, once you can get your hands on them.

Rich standard edition boy in the last two wipes here. Friends bought EoD and I had no issue keeping up with them in amounts of absurd gear available. Really the lower stash size probably encouraged me to run more high end kits and get better with them

I am an EoD idiot child myself but plan to liquidate my stash after this next wipe and just go from scratch, saving the money for ammo/meds/magazines if necessary. Going in with little and coming out with a lot, then proceeding to lose it all again, is really fun, even if you're as bad as me.
