FC Metz has 5 points in 17 games and a -26 goal differential. Yikes.

LFP has decided not to penalize PSG or Monaco for their transfer spending, but they did hand a transfer ban to Lille

Fucks sake

Is UEFA gonna do anything at least like limit their squad sizes in Europe or whatever they did to Inter and Roma?

I would be surprised if they did, honestly. If Platini were still in charge there'd be zero chance PSG gets any kind of penalty, but I couldn't say what'll happen now. But I'm not surprised about the LFP, Cavani got red-carded for excessive celebration against RC Lens in the 14-15 season and the head of the LFP personally called Khelafi to apologize, so that's what we're dealing with here.

Is anything remotely interesting going on in this league this year?

PSG are ahead in the league, but not by Man City levels.

Amiens SC despite their tiny budget and collection of could have been stars (Kakuta,Gakpe and Lacina Traoré) have been crushing it compared to their projected zero points :rms:

Two loses on the trot though...

Neymar's been courting disaster ever since it got out that he's been having a cry over how rough Ligue 1 defending is (lol). I don't know how he expected people wouldn't be rougher with him after that.

So basically, Marseille ended up paying more for Patrice Evra based on supposed interest from Lyon that turned out to be non-existent, Aulas just made it all up.

L'Equipe is reporting that Thomas Tuchel will replace Unai Emery at PSG next year. For anyone who watches Bundesliga, does he play a 4-3-3 possession game like PSG wants?

if you look at the list of coaches they've had since the buyout (Kombouare, Ancelotti, Blanc, Emery), they generally haven't been able to attract a true Big Name yet, Ancelotti aside. Although, he booked it for Real Madrid after a single season so that was never going to last.

Given the kind of success Juventus has in all areas consistently in every season, I have no idea why Allegri would leave for a club that goes mental every year over the Champions League.
