So really theres no reason to emulate birds for any reason at all.

300 lbs of that is harvested a year. 20 MILLION lbs or real actual vanilla is harvested a year. You aren't winning the beast butt lottery.

speaking of seagull facts: https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2018/04/04/599363657/canadian-hotel-forgives-guest-17-years-after-flock-of-seagulls-trashed-his-room Basically, this guy stayed at a really fancy hotel in Victoria, Canada, for a business trip. He brought a bunch of special salami from Halifax to give to his buddies, and he spread all the salami out in his room and opened the windows to keep it fresh. When he came back to his room, there were around 40 seagulls in there eating the salami, and the room was covered in poo poo and feathers. The hotel banned him for life, but they lifted it a few days ago after he wrote them an apology and an explanation on facebook.

i love seagulls, because of stories like that. the best part is that The Empress isn't just any fancy hotel. in Victoria, it's THE fancy hotel. it's a National Historic Site of Canada, a popular tourist attraction, and the king and queen of England have stayed there. it's $75 to enjoy their Victorian-style tea service and it's so popular that you need to book far in advance. there was even a minor controversy back in the city's history when a sign was put up on the hotel because people felt that no one who didn't immediately know this was THE Empress had no business staying there. seagulls loving everything up with their spicy pepperoni poo poo is hilarious
