I agree that the ability of undead musicians to play instruments requiring compression/expansion without muscles makes far more sense than the ability to play brass and woodwinds without lips/lungs.

I mean, they don't have ears either, but they could "hear" through bone conduction, so that's another mark in favor of a percussion instrument anyway. What I'm saying is skeletons crank the bass
