I wish some of these game modes were actual last team standings, deathmatches, etc instead of all being lumped into one adversary mode category. I'll never get those LTS chrome wheel discounts.

Who here plays PC? Still trying to get this Series A off my phone. Also I think Rockstar fixed my money going away after Hotring because I suddenly got awarded $425,000 for no reason when logging in. Still dealing with ubiquitous hackers blowing me up or dropping 50 planes on my location.

Honestly if you're worried about hackers on PC just get Session Sweeper so you can nope the gently caress out of there if/when a hacker shows up even if you can't get to a menu to change instances

Theres an article on kotaku up about it but theres a money glitch on consoles that fucks up the whole session with random objects like walls and track when they do it.

Left the game running in the background while watching TV in my facility. Propose was to let bunker generate product. Come back an hour later and I can see from the fixed perspective from the couch there's some cages now stacked up around the break room. Not the first time I've seen it. So I stand up and immediately get gunned down by at least 2 [what I assume are] bots. Didn't get a good look at them before I died. Good times.

I don’t know of any other multiplayer game where hackers are so common or game-wrecking. This is the ONLY game where virtually every time I log in I encounter someone who kills everyone simultaneously or drops 10 airliners on everyone’s head.

Ok my return to the game was somewhat ruined by the fact I couldn't open the interaction menu or shop menu. That kinda made things awkward so I ate a steak.

Zigmidge posted:Yes you could be sanctimonious about it or you could get over yourself and do something about it: Well it's okay to be pissed off about a multiplayer game being overrun by cheaters where the only solution is to cut yourself off from the multiplayer part. Either way you're still being a condescending tryhard. Lurk more. That having been said, it will be funny when GTA: Online's successor is built to be as bulletproof as Rockstar can manage to sell Shark Cards v2.0 and at a (probably) more extortionate rate with prices of property and cars being even more blown out. I think a lot of people will reminisce about the good old days. Suddenly the occasional impossible-to-play-because-of-teenage-hackers session won't seem so bad when there was also a chance that you'd leave said session with a quarter of a billion fakebucks to spend on useless poo poo that sits in your garage and never gets driven. I kinda like that the game is super hackable because when that isn't the case, I'll only end up seeing about 5% off the content. To each his own, though.

Zigmidge posted:Yes you could be sanctimonious about it or you could get over yourself and do something about it: Exactly why am I supposed to keep playing a game where I need to download third party tools just to keep every single session from being ruined? It's not like I'm getting hosed up by hackers while walking down the street doing nothing. I get blown up or boxed in while trying to sell cars, run cargo, or resupply the bunker. All that money and effort gets wasted because I don't know a hacker's in my session until every single player simultaneously explodes.

honestly, GTAV is basically unplayable without a mod menu. I straight up uninstalled when they broke the one I was using, because even if I wasn't actively trying to cheat, the mod menu had options that would let me no-sell most of the really dumb poo poo hackers can pull e: they're blowing me up? pop invincibility and just ignore them. they box me in somewhere? just teleport out, flip them off and go on my way. they try to crash my game or DC me? the mod menu has settings that explicitly go "NOPE" to however they pull that poo poo. as a bonus, I could make bags of money start raining from the sky on all the people who aren't giant shitheads.

1. Is there a crate warehouse that stacks the first 6 crates all on the floor? I've got 5/6 of the rare crates in a small size, but it stacks the first on the floor, the next above it, then moves to the floor then above it, etc. Early on I had them spaced out with a normal crate on the top level, but I f'd up and sold some normals to make space, and it reshuffled them to fill in the first few stackspre:norm norm norm norm rare rare rare rare next after selling the 4 normals, it becomes rare rare next rare rare rare 2. Next question which might be a moot point if the answer above is NO... if I buy a new warehouse and trade in the current one, does it transfer the existing crates or can you only do the tradein with an empty warehouse? I bet the R* answer is going to be sell them and start over on the collection and maintain the spacing with normals 3. What other rare/unbuyable but storable vehicles are there besides the hearse and the army jeeps? I'm not talking mods and spawning in, but naturally occuring, or otherwise reasonably glitchable. Early on there was a Lost slamvan but I think that's been patched out. Also a gang lowrider but that might just be a regular car with custom paints
