Hey Joe's earliest recording is by The Leaves. Hendrix covered it.

The only reason I know the title to the song All Along The Watchtower is because it was a quest in World of Warcraft. fake e: and after looking it up even that was a Bob Dylan song first

I've been playing the video game Morrowind for the first time in a few years. The Empire in which the Elder Scrolls series is set uses a currency of gold coins called septims. In Morrowind some characters refer to coins called "drakes" which for many years I assumed was a separate currency unique to Morrowind province that was roughly equivalent to septims and they both got lumped together as generic "gold" in the player's inventory. Septims have a dragon symbol engraved on them. "Drakes" is just a regional slang term for septims.

There is a whole history of the emporer and a lineage of dragons. It's pretty neat if you're in to that kinda stuff.

Yeah for a long time I thought beloved boomer burger-rocker Jimmy Buffet did really well for him self and wisely invested his music money into stocks. The same demographic of people seemed to speak highly of this buffet character so it was the same guy probably.

Jimmy Buffet did really well for himself by investing in the restaurant industry and making terrible music for Gen Xer burnouts. He seems like a really cool dude but I hate everything he like except margaritas, eating fish and loving. Oops, now I'm a Parrothead.

I absolutely 100% never had a doubt in my mind that the judge from Night Court was Dana Carvey until that dude died and people were not mourning Dana Carvey. I only watched it when I was very young, but even when I've glanced at pics, I was always like, "Oh that Dana Carvey, wonder what he's been up to".
