Yeah, Armoured Guard were spectacularly unaffected by that since you can still take 9 russes and 3 tank commanders.

Just imagine if the west became more accepting of Forgeworld. By keeping Forgeworld alive it would possibly prompt more adults to research it and get converted into 30k fans (I am one myself), in turn increasing the amount that is imported and thus increasing Forgeworld revenues in glorious England, therefore increasing the amount of content created. We may have actually had studios like Hanger 18 and Karol Rudyk, who have done their fair share of miniature casts, start to produce Resin too. The more accepting the public is, the less of a big deal Forgeworld would be and so we'd finally have superbly cast resin involving step sisters, little sisters, cute aliens from outer space and childhood friends.

There just isn't enough of this resin in the west, and the English are leading the way and leaving us behind. Not to mention we don't get Resin cast fast enough. Only a few high profile Resin models get cast quickly, but because we don't demand it in the west then there's no commercial involvement and we have to rely on recasters (Those kind souls), and so we miss out on a lot of the more niche resins. I don't only buy Forgeworld for the voluptuous thighs or the needle like nipples on their gorgeous daemonettes, I buy it for the fantastic way they are able to portray sexual acts. When was the last time you heard the phrase "I can feel your fat throbbing power fist ramming my mortal corpse at light speed. I am just losing my mind in anticipation for you to blow your huge Bolter magazine inside my rotting body, Big Brother." Never, that's when you last heard that in normal porn. You know, not to mention that the proportion of western models is totally off.

There's things that Forgeworld can do also that no regular caster could. Leviathan dreads are one of God's greatest inventions, the way that a fallen soldier having a huge hulking suit can pull such a cute look is incredible. My cock survives on leviathans coupled with the sad mumblings of a mindbroken Chaos cultist. And of course huge models is nothing compared to what many amazing English men (maybe women) craft. The art work in some of those shoulder pads is better than anything which has came out of Italy in the past 1000+ years. Truly mind blowing stuff. The way they can make slaanesh daemons seem so soft and shiny, the way they can perfectly sculpt midriffs, the way they can get the absolute perfect amount of skindentation on thigh highs and the way they can make asses look like the softest, most delicious things in existence. Resin artists in the west often create art which looks like it's straight from your mom’s basement. Whereas Resin artists in England make art which looks like it's straight from the mind of a man with the greatest tastes.

Just imagine how much more advanced humanity would be, how much we'd progress, how much happier we would be as a whole if it was just acceptable to watch a heavily armored Anime imperial armiger gently caress up its older step brother in the school gym. The fact that English man have smaller cocks than us in the west is no surprise when you consider how large their brains must be to come up with the most kickass blood pumping art known to man.

This is the sort of future we miss out on when official casts of Forgeworld are cut from mainstream american gaming.
I think you meant to post this in the 30k thread, friend.

This is the first army list I think I've ever posted here, and it's either going to be great or very, very bad. It lacks heavy hitters but I'm mitigating that with mobility (for example the bike unit will split into two units right off the bat). Figure at 1k points I'd likely be facing only a single HS unit, which if it's a high-wound model like a vehicle I'll mostly ignore it and stay out of LoS.

Good to see Biel-Tan bad bois representing.

(Though i’ll probably get kicked out of the Biel-Tan bad boi club for running as a custom craftworld at tournaments so i can choose a less bad trait).

So, first major game tonight using Beta rules. Blood Angels vs Necrons, 2k.

I'm new to Blood Angels, so it was a hodgepodge of Primaris, jump infantry and terminators.

My main take aways were : buy death company, make Slamguinious, don't use terminators.

Additionally I found beta rules not to my liking, mostly due to not having the first turn and having to wait through two turns of his shooting before I could try do anything effective. I say try, because I failed 4 charges on a row. Over makes the game less fun for me.

Any general tips to help with Blood angels?

I suppose the counterpoint to that argument was previously it was guaranteed the Necron player would have less fun, because you'd be in his grill unavoidably T1, and he'd just have to pick X% of his units to be pawns to have at least an opportunity to fire on you.

Competitively? Pick a supplementary Imperial army to support your Blood Angels. Mono-Blood Angels are in a rough spot.

True. It could also be argued, that the half of my army that is deployed on the table turn 1 under the Beta rules, now has to be picked to weather two turns of shooting until the rest of my forces arrive, limiting my choices also.

Treat your power armor like orks. Ditch all the fancy elite stuff and maximize the number of bodies on the table. Rely on sheet numbers of dice and an "everyone runs forwards and dies" attitude.

Mind you this probably works better with chaos marines because you can give every grunt a sword and a pistol to really emphasize how much they are intended to be thrown into the woodchipper of turns 1-2 running across the table.

This is a probably a good time to emphasize the importance of lots of LOS blocking scenery.
