From fashion, to music, cuisine, to Christian-themed weddings. They've become preferred over traditional shinto weddings solely due to the aesthetics. Like, if there was a population of white expats in Japan complaining every time a piece of Japanese fiction used medieval Europe or the wild west as a setting (which is all the time), then they'd also be rightly seen as insecure weirdos
