I could see how the GOP could have been excited by the phenomena of alt right Pepe chuds being the youth movement of conservatism and their pathway into the next generation, around the time of cheeto's election. These bitter defeated fuckers aren't going to campaign for anyone or even vote, much less donate money or even earn any money TO donate. It goes against their whole ethos, such as it is. I don't know. This is the last week of 3 months paternity leave with my 5 month old daughter and I have spent a lot of time thinking of just how hosed masculinity is in our society. I just view incels as the end result of toxic masculinity in our society. I think depression might factor into it a little but at the end of the day its lovely white males who have found an echo chamber online that provides the "real" reasons they wont get laid. And the stacy/labia and all that other poo poo just shows the pure vitriol they have for others. However I will admit I have struggled with depression in the past so my thinking might be biased regarding that.

It's a good film and worth a watch IMO even if the bands vary wildly in terms of their actual talent and charisma. If you start from 9:20 and watch the coverage of the pre Henry Rollins version of Black Flag, you'll see them performing "Depression". The song is a nihilistic tune that is completely about blackpill incel poo poo, distilled into about a minute. La plus ca change... But.. at least with the Black Flag members, performing is an outlet. The mosh pit punks have an outlet. They are out, most of them, doing something that is at least a little social. They could make actual meatspace friends going to shows, and possibly even get laid. The social outlet is not always good. Obviously maybe they could meet some fellow Droogs to commit acts of ultraviolence on brown or yellow people or just wallow in incel-ism in meatspace the way the 2018 versions do online. But I can't help but think just the act of getting out of the house gives a much better possibility of good things happening than rotting online. There have been awkward, even toxic, teenage and early 20s males who have trouble connecting with females or other people in general as long as human history. The current online paradigm just makes it easier for it to be reinforced so they can wallow in it.

They feel that they have failed in life and are blaming their failures on someone else. It's a large degree of toxic masculinity, but that is more setting the goals they feel they cannot meet rather than the method. Things like inceldom and immigrant panic are the perfect way to find a cause for all the woe in your life that totally absolves you from any fault. It's not that these guys don't recognize that they are garbage people, they just have a total inability to realize that what they are like is at least partially their fault. In that sense it is more due to narcissism than depression, because the latter would have them blaming themselves for everything.
