I just realized that as of USUM there are 403 Pokémon in the Alola Dex, out of 807 total. So in Alola, of all Pokémon, there are 404 not found.

I'm a very casual Pokemon player (usually just slowly go through the game over the course of a year) and at first I felt kind of cheated by Ultra Moon because it is so similar. But I dunno the quality of life improvements are really solid and I'm playing on a New 3DS so it runs a lot better so that combined has left me ultimately enjoying it and even I'm not really playing these games for the story.

Are the US Target codes region locked or would I be able to get Entei that way (assuming I can even get hold of a code)? If not, could someone here from the US possibly use a code on their game and gift me Entei? I've never traded Pokemon so don't know how it works. I'll happily donate money to a charity of the person's choosing if someone's able to help me out.

Trading Pokemon is a matter of getting a friend code from another player, adding them as a friend, then going to the festival plaza and selecting trade while both players are online.

Missives from the Crystalverse return: I think one of the reasons why I have such a soft spot for Johto is because of all the cool things you're doing all the way through that aren't really related to the gyms. Getting to the top of Sprout Tower, finding the beasts, saving Ampharos, capturing Gyarados, swinging back to Union Cave and Ruins of Alph. There's a lot like that in the newer games, but holy moly is there a lot of talking about every little thing. It's a lot easier to get in the zone in Johto than G6 or 7. Just my $0.02, but it's nice to go back and realize why you're so fond for something instead of just having the feeling. Time to team up with my boy Lance and wreck some house.

Ultra Sun has a pretty great pace to it if you slow down to find the Totem Stickers, sidequests, etc. I just evolved Rockruff at 5:35! Next playthrough I'm going to make a team of Ride Pokemon; I'm thinking Charizard/Mantine/Machamp/Stoutland/Mudsdale/Solgaleo The Golden Gael fucked around with this message at 22:53 on Apr 29, 2018 |

Which sounds bad but keep in mind "rejects" in this instance is usually things like "I was trying to breed a shiny Bulbasaur with the perfect stats and moves and it took 200 eggs to get one so now I'll wondertrade away a bunch of these non-shiny ones who still have perfect stats and moves".
