On slow aussie internet, but the last page won't load with me currently scamming telstra air. Any idea why your images are so large and slow? E: looking into it are the slow as gently caress ones the ones you've uploaded to SA forums via phone? Not sure if that or your own server ones that are problems for me. At the moment I’m trying to get the front Driveshaft’s to clear the subframe. Everything is either 2 inches too long or half a bolt width out... For example , The front Driveshaft’s are a Hybrid from 3 different vehicles, and it goes on.. death by a thousand cuts. At least I sorted the steering and we can now move it from the paddock.

 7 months annnd..... it's first service was time not kms. That is an absolute first for me.... usually I pile the kms on. A couple of things that was noticed is the air filters were a right mess (and I havent drivien it in anywhere other than good roads????) and the oil was disgusting. My thought here is twofold - whatever Subaru puts in is simply too goddamn light for a motor that has high piston temps and far too thin to last for the recommended service interval of 12,500kms (?!?! loving seriously? 12,500kms? The oil got to 9,000 and it was filthy, there is no way I would let it go any further) and the heat of Australia. FFS, just NO. I'm going to keep an eye on the oil and change it earlier. It really was total watery crap and as I said, I was a fair way short of the serivce interval. If the new oil ends up looking trashed early, I'll do the EGR delete I dont trust lightweight oils to begin with and this aint changing my mind - oil SHOULD be able to last the recomended interval. Annnyway....  Today's supervisor is Tiffany  Finally completely stripped out So..... what AM I doing with the grey shell? Okaaaay..... here's the first hint.

Nobody ever knows what you are doing. Also trust me you need eye protection with those wire wheels (they also suck on battery drills, higher rpms from A/C give best results) Nice cat.

Shoot a used oil sample off to a lab, you'd be surprised what modern oils can do. I get 9000+ miles out of a 4qt 0w20 synthetic oil change on my CRV and the sample I sent still had maybe another 1000 miles of life left in it.

Less heat stressed NA Subarus might be able to get away with the newer lower visocisty oils but the turbos cant... hell the Liberty's EZ30 was better with at least 5/40w.  Worth more than half the fleet.... the RX-7 is the one that is probably worth the most soon, prices are going silly... the 100K RX-7 isnt out of the question now, and while mine aint worth that, it wont be too much longer till they start at 20K. More hints about what we are doing with the silver shell....

Unfortunately I get stuck with playing dolls as my wife doesn’t do it. Fortunately I’ve now introduced Captain America and Batman to the various version of Barbie . 😂🤪. And even better she now hates Frozen. There are benefits to this however. If I say I need to put wheels on the car she will come out and help... so I can play dolls....
