So at this point you have that right so like if you're pushing into drag of course you have less thrust available for accelerating forward, because you're expending a lot of that thrust just to overcome drag. But the part that was missing was then when you start to slow down it's actually using drag that's pushing against the vehicle as part of you're slowing down force, as opposed to nullifying that out and then using thrusters to slow you down."

Translation: Since its introduction in 3.0, atmosphere is a thrust modifier. Fidelity!

WW2 Fighters without atmosphere or gravity even when there is atmosphere and gravity, amazing.

Yeah.... there's no way this "game" is getting to 2019 without the networking tech.
They just can't kick it down the road to 2019.
I'm pretty sure even the most dug-in whale will make the simple connection:

"Crap server tech that is never improved means no Idris in the PU, like ever."

It doesn't matter what the thing at Cit Con will be. No network tech means no ship sales and probably half their whales refunding.

Another year of "Meshed servers are right around the corner guys!!" will not cut it.
I'm pretty sure even the streamers know that.

And predictably, he stands wherever CIG would want him to stand. Here is where he lays it out. He’s high-fiving the marketing for the monies raised while ignoring any intangible damage caused by that very same marketing (lost trust, growing resentments, increased whispers of the “is CIG having money problems?” variety, etc.) and lecturing about the Big Picture with the tracker open behind him.

CIG knew, they absolutely knew, this choice would roil the community, fleet owners, and old guard backers. Not just because of the LTI but the “buy with cash now got a free TANK too!” gimmick. But they pushed it through anyway, and in the year Chris spoke of their need to earn back trust.

Just how dire must the cash situation be?

Maybe they’re fine and they just know they need to keep squeezing often so they can make it to the next boom season. But that season doesn’t start in August at Gamescom this year — they have to make it to mid-October. They may end up launching several more old money screw job reminders between now and then. If so, I’m not sure CitizenCon will be the fever dream spending orgy CIG needs it to be. After all, why spend today when CIG will just offer better deals down the road to newer money?

Specifically it seems that after the first round of "you are outside the 14 day period and not entitled to a refund" CIG say they are transferring you to a "refund specialist" who will be "in touch shortly". They started doing this in January and oddly enough, that refund specialist guy never calls back.

A poll!

A poll of SC backers asking them what they want to do when SC is finally realeased, how they want to fly.

A) In my own ship by myself
B) As captain with other players as my crew
C) As a crew member on someone else's ship

I'm going out on a limb here, but i suspect the results would be something like this:

A) 80%
B) 19.9%
C) 0.1%

This of course might cause a problem for those wanting to command peons.

Perhaps goons could make up the shortfall.

You forgot to add the one that would hurt the most:

D) Play a single player game with none of the ships I bought, where most of the game is watching cutscenes.

Good question. What happens to the argon in your level of the other level doesn't load?

How will you know if opening that door will vent or fill your room with argon or a multitude of other gases being tracked each tick?

How will your characters lungs react to these levels?

Worse yet... what if you stepped inside a missing level area? What happens to your gases treacking system and how will it affect your character?

What if you were holding your breath mid-vault over an obstacle while sighting down your sniper laser?
