Just found out a shawarma place is opening three blocks from my apartment, and I couldn't be more pleased. Bear in mind this is in southwest Virginia, not an area exactly known for its Middle Eastern immigrants and their culinary delights. If the FB pics from their flagship store are any indication, I'm gonna be bringing y'all some good pics soon, I feel it (under the "good food, bad presentation/photo" clause).

I will never understand why people put pomegranate seeds in foods. That's just what I need, an invisible tooth cracking lump of hard poo poo in my food. I do love the taste of pomegranate though, but just juice the fuckers if you want it in your dish!
