Comics have some weird poo poo going on with them. Though not sure what to think of the... interesting article about Cyborg that's linked from that comic. (for the record, I think I agree with a comment that Cyborg isn't being read well there, and he's mostly misused on the Justice League; his main issue in the media that's worth a drat is as a disabled person who happens to have a really awesome prothesis, but still isn't the man he used to be, and has to grapple with the idea of losing much of what he once defined himself as while finding new ways to appreciate and improve himself. Says something that he's commonly paired with Beast Boy, who has also lost something of his original humanity but in turn gained a deeper understand of and empathy with nature, expressing it by being a strict vegetarian and invoking animals for everyday activities, identifying as not just a human with powers but as part of a greater whole of nature)
