I remember my mind being blown when I learned that in hurdles the only rule is you have to stay in your lane, you can choose to clear the hurdles however you want including smashing into them, ducking underneath them, or jumping over

It's may content boys. /r/nfl ran a bunch of spreadsheets and ranked all the NFL qb's, so here you go, here's what john q. football fan thinks of your QB: Last number is the average place people voted them. pre:1 Tom Brady 1.68 2 Aaron Rodgers 1.81 3 Drew Brees 3.10 4 Russell Wilson 4.28 5 Matt Ryan 4.85 6 Ben Roethlisberger 5.28 7 Matthew Stafford 8.54 8 Carson Wentz 8.77 9 Philip Rivers 9.25 10 Cam Newton 9.73 11 Andrew Luck 10.02 12 Kirk Cousins 10.69 13 Alex Smith 15.13 14 Jared Goff 16.40 15 Derek Carr 16.75 16 Jimmy Garoppolo 17.13 17 Marcus Mariota 17.22 18 Jameis Winston 19.43 19 Eli Manning 19.46 20 Andy Dalton 19.51 21 Dak Prescott 19.56 22 Sam Bradford 19.66 23 Blake Bortles 20.77 24 Joe Flacco 20.97 25 Deshaun Watson 25.81 26 Case Keenum 26.43 27 Tyrod Taylor 27.23 28 Ryan Tannehill 27.39 29 Josh McCown 28.15 30 AJ McCarron N/A 31 Mitchell Trubisky N/A 32 Patrick Mahomes N/A

Like unless they get to say, 6 wins this year, they're probably moving on from Hue regardless. So like, the way this year goes bad is if they start like 0-4 and fire Hue, and/or anyone in the front office showing that they're still the trigger happy Browns, or Hue does what he did with Kizer last year and benches Mayfield / Tyrod repeatedly through the season ruining his confidence.

Of course Jimmy and Watson have started about as many games as Trubisky, But hey, that's life. Also the top 6 had a breakdown with the team that ranked them highest / lowest which is pretty funny: pre:1 Tom Brady 1.10 (New England Patriots) 2.25 (Miami Dolphins) 2 Aaron Rodgers 1.20 (Green Bay Packers) 2.53 (New Orleans Saints) 3 Drew Brees 1.94 (New Orleans Saints) 3.75 (Arizona Cardinals) 4 Russell Wilson 3.21 (Seattle Seahawks) 4.96 (Pittsburgh Steelers) 5 Matt Ryan 3.91 (Atlanta Falcons) 5.61 (Pittsburgh Steelers) 6 Ben Roethlisberger 3.80 (Pittsburgh Steelers) 5.67 (Seattle Seahawks)

I ran hurdles in high school and middle school. You don't get penalties for knocking them over. The idea is to get as close to them as possible without hitting them for maximum speed. also don't wear boxers to track practice.

SHOAH NUFF posted:Could someone really short and flexible bend down and scurry underneath them at a faster pace? The key to being good at hurdles is being tall enough and fast enough to 3-step them so you can maintain your rhythm which helps maintain your speed. You'd have to take a lot more steps to scurry underneath. Four-steppers rarely beat 3 steppers. It's more total steps in the race and you have to switch your lead foot. Also yes I realize this isn't a serious question, I just never get to talk about hurdles. Edwin Moses is one of the most underrated athletes of all time.
