Also I use multigrain bread for nutrition purposes, tortillas are less healthy for everyday use. I mean carbs are the enemy regardless I guess, maybe I should go keto

The real advantages of farming, from a societal point of view, are that sedentary lifestyles allow for shorter inter-birth periods (imagine being a nomad who has a toddler and a baby at the same time) and that farming produces a food surplus that can feed non-farming specialists, like professional soldiers.

Agricultural advancements that led to the cultivation of grain and glucose-rich nutrients that could be easily extracted and metabolized led to longer life expectancies, stronger armies, and more organized societies across the spectrum. Bread literally allowed our ancestors to think and organize more clearly thanks to a mass injection of blood sugar swirling around in their noggins.

This doesn't match my understanding, which is that being an early farmer loving sucked--you ate worse and worked harder for the food than your hunter-gatherer neighbors. But in exchange you had more babies, had specialists, and could make a living even after hunting the local fauna to extinction. Here's a scholarly article on the topic: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21507735 If you have any sources for the contrary I'd love to read them I'm hardly an expert on the topic and could easily be wrong.

I skipped breakfast because yesterday I took an antiallergic combo that knocked me out. My lunch was a couple of shrimp pancakes with vinaigrette and now I'm dining a fruit salad - apples, kiwis, mangos, pears, bananas and squeezed some oranges on everything. But sometimes I'll have a triple burger and a white chocolate milkshake for dinner so I really just like to surprise my body.

Apparently Voodoo Donuts are a big thing around here, and while I haven't had one fresh from the store I wasn't super impressed with what I have had. Not that they're bad, but give me a gross rear end, sugar drenched Krispy Kreme any day. I ain't above it.

Yeah it was great I didn't realize I was walking by a donut shop but I *smelled* it and had to go in. I salute you but I just feel gross during/after eating donuts most of the time. I've been reconverted now, which is dangerous, but this place is a mile+ up some steep hills from where I'll be living for the next few months so, at least I'll burn a bit of it off
