I did one run where I just left Tiffany alone until after I killed everyone else. Alas, there was no option to just walk away after that.

i handled it by:

1) morph to the front door the instant i get control
2) come in through the front door and head to the door that connects the living room to the kitchen
3) open that door, IMMEDIATELY move away - AJ is on a timer to go check something at the counter nearby and she will see you if you try to take her right then and there
4) hustle over to the generator, kill mitch
5) morph back over to the front door, come in through the now-open kitchen<->living room door, kill AJ

you do not need shift to make this work (i was working on Walking Tall at the same time)

Yeah, AJ seems bugged because even when she can't see you and you're stalking she'll just psychically know you're there sometimes.

I never had a problem getting the Jenny killing the barn, but I was having a hell of a time getting the AJ stovetop kill. It seems that no matter what I did, the instant that I open the door, she was instantly aware of it and took off running.

The Trap thing on the second stage was an annoying one. I set a trap on the path between the house and the shed with the power box and Mitch walked around it. So while he was inside, I dropped two traps in front of the entrance to essentially wall him in. And I watched the AI try to wiggle and squeeze between the edge of the doorway to get around the two traps before finally stepping in it.

And unskippable cutscenes should not be a thing in this day and age. Especially on something that's meant to be repeated several times.

Yeah, it's a little weird. I would have figured that Tiffany would have some of AJ's roles in some of the encounters.

The easiest way I found to get the trap challenge is to grab someone and hold them over it so they fall in after struggling out of your grab.

i ended up getting The Trap by putting a trap in front of chad and jenny because it was obvious to me that it was just going downhill from there and i wanted to see what would happen

result: jenny loving tore off like satan himself was on her heels and left chad to loving die

it was great

So, part 7 was a little tricky at first because the area is pretty large and there are quite a few things going on but I managed to work out how to complete all of the challenges in a single run.

1. At the beginning, shift to the cabin that Buggzy goes to to get the beer and wait in the side room with the dartboard. Grab him when he's checking the refrigerator and carry him to the knife a few steps away.
2. Immediately morph to the restroom and follow AJ through the front door and smash her head into the mirror. The timing on this can be a little tricky depending on which door Buggzy entered the other cabin through.
3. Immediately morph back to the cabin where you killed Buggzy and Kenny should just be walking in the door. Grab him in the hallway as he's about to round the corner and see Buggzy and kill him with the refrigerator.
4. Morph back to the restroom and Chad should be showing up soon. Kill him however you like but make sure you do it before he sees AJ. I just used the window.
5. Morph to the poker cabin and wait for Vanessa to go into the restroom to brush her hair. Follow her in and drown her in the toilet.
6. Find Deb in the cabin nearby and wait until she hears a scream. Morph to the archery range and wait for her to get there so you can shoot her with bow and arrows. This is the hidden objective.

You may need to do the last two in the opposite order depending on whether Vanessa wants to go into the restroom right away or not.

A year later I still crack myself up morphing into a house before the door closes, hiding around the corner, and then snatching their asses and hearing my victim scream their rear end inside out.

You guys have the weirdest luck. I had zero problems with AJ at all, but I could never get Jenny in the loving barn. She's always at the barn entrance when I approach, then she goes inside a stall to gently caress around but if I get too close, even around a corner with no line of sight, she "sees" me and screams and runs.

To wit, to get AJ all I did was:

Kill Mitch immediately after he says "Don't fry yourself!" and before he goes into the back-up animation
Immediately turn around and go up the steps to the front porch and head inside to the kitchen
Use Morph just in case, open the door and then back off and wait for AJ to go to the stove
Go in to kill AJ

I could pretty much get her every time. The cupboard -> beer -> stove cycle is long enough that unless you dick around trying to get through the front door for some reason you'll kill Mitch and then get there right as she's drinking a beer, but before the stove. You should never get caught when she's at the pantry.

e: I finally did it by setting two traps at the barn gate, then just strolling up and grabbing Jenny from behind. Still counted as no detection, too.

It seems rather arbitrary whether you get detected or not when it comes to traps. In one case I was around the corner of a shack, watching Mitch step into the trap without being detected. A bit later - in that same session - I was detected when Jenny stepped into a trap, half a map away, from the other side of the Higgin's House.

No shift doesnt include no morph

Morph to behind the electricity shed and electro mitch, morph to the house and use the side door to the main room, you'll get to AJ in time to boil her. Wait in a bedroom on the first floor of the main house and follow chad to the fireplace and Jenny should be halfway to the barn after that deed is done, you'll have your morph again at this point. Easy peasy 3 skull all cinematic kills with no shift!

When this game eventually dies, I really hope the developers make some sort of Predator game. Same basic mechanics, except it’s commandos instead of counselors, the Predator instead of Jason, and more trap mechanics. Maybe you can call in an evac chopper or if you build a trap and catch a Predator, you have to outrun his bomb or you both lose

My boyfriend and I have a drinking game that we I do with stealth games where getting spotted is a drink, a healing item is two, and a game over is a shot of liquor. I even had it all planned out that we'd make it a shot per survivor instead, but the new engine makes the game just slightly too beefy to play and record at the same time :saddowns: which is odd because without recording, the game runs at a silky smooth (but pretty ugly) 60 frames per second
