No...but all joking aside, Erin the man himself talked about this being in 3.1 or 3.2 but was sort of scuttled. It still rears its head from time to time with faithful posts.

The optics are just horrible no matter how you look at it

Oh yeah, I wasn't trying to suggest anything differently, it's just that simply looking at the payroll doesn't encompass the entire range of ball-fondling that takes place at executive levels in normal operating corporations, let alone someone's validation project.

Reminds me of the time one of our execs visited when we were looking at layoffs and started into a story about how he bought his last Porsche. Cayenne, got a discount for cash.

I think the reason I liked the newer Fallout games is because I never played the originals, so I had no perspective on how they ruined the IP, and I don't engage in the storyline, I just treat it like a survival game. If you play them that way (ignorant and wrong) then they can be a lot of fun.

Definitely once the game launches but besides that it's a mute point because there's no way to win Star Citizen

No to your first question.

Second question is a mixed "yes" because the project never really coalesced into anything, so it can't really collapse. But the slow burn is hilarious on its own.

I don't know why this is, but I hope somebody will psychoanalyze me and provide me with a professional thereat assessment because of it.

You're a believer, and that is why deep down inside, you just know SC will succeed. You cast doubt in a public forum, but really those are just your projections about the status of the thread its naysayers.

Nah, Kazan was doxxed by our warlord and he indeed has some programming chops. They're just in a completely different and unrelated area. But since he once worked in some tool for a 20 year old game he's an expert about all games.

All Bethesda games are about exploring and dungeon crawling. I couldn't tell you the story of any of them though I have many hours in all of them.

Starship Titanic, a point-and-click by Douglas Adams. While I forget most of the details, the construction of the ship in the game's story was also an elaborate scam. But it was also a fully functional spaceship aside from some sabotage and insane robot crew.

"Through backstory in the ship's email system, the player learns that Brobostigon and Scraliontis, two associates of the ship's creator Leovinus, double crossed him and deliberately provoked a "Spontaneous Massive Existence Failure" by hiding the body parts of the ship's humanoid intelligence system Titania in various locations within the ship, in an effort to destroy the ship and profit from its insurance. After exploring the vessel and solving puzzles, the player eventually finds all of Titania's body parts and awakens her, repairing the sabotaged ship and allowing for it to be navigated. The player then accesses the bridge and navigates the ship back to his or her home in Earth. Throughout the game, the player meets other bots, including Nobbie, the "LiftBot", Fortillian, the "BarBot" and D'Astragaaar, the "Maitre d'Bot". The player also meets a parrot that accompanies him or her throughout most of the journey."

Yeah, I'm not going to take anything away from Kazan because he did write a transformation package for Freespace, but the thing that he skirts around is;

a) Writing a tool a couple of decades ago has no relationship with today.
b) Deciding that you really want to be that Kazan means you're solidly appealing to authority.

The minute someone asks you to take their word something because of perceived fame, laugh and close your wallet up tight.
