the toonami thread moves at an incredible pace so yeah, a standalone thread would be good, even if it might not have many different posters. it'll also be nice to have for the eventual sub release, when i might actually watch it and have thoughts.

Eh, not to start a dub vs. sub fight, but for me FLCL is up there with Cowboy Bebop as a show that has a great dub that doesn't really lose you anything. Although that's for the original series, no clue about the new series.

It's the same color as her forelock, so I'll assume that it's just some of her hair. There's no need to assume that all of the horse girls' hair is the same color in a given area from the top down to the scalp, especially since most of them have multicolored hair anyway.

It'd be helpful if ANN translated more of the context, but  . The main character apparently explicitly loses his memories upon being isekai'd, so it's really pointless besides that being the author's choice of how to give backing to his personality.

you could have easily just made him a samurai in some random sengoku lord's service who got his killing experience killing other japanese and had that be his backstory. the fact that you specifically chose a scenario in which hes killed thousands of chinese is, well, weird. good on the author for giving an actual apology, at least.
