I'll always say the Mob Psycho 100 anime is the best refinement of ONE's art style. While it kinda loses the resting bitch face Mob has in the manga, they still managed to keep ONE's signature style while refining it so the average viewer wouldn't put it off as "ugly."

MP100 is one of the best series I've read and by the point where the anime ends the art is cleaner looking anyway (since by then he started having assistants to help out).

The MP100 anime was great visually because they leaned into how the simplistic style let them make all the characters move more because there were less lines to draw for each position Reigen gets to gesticulate wildly as he talks which is just ???% perfect for him
