The funny thing is that Gau also has green hair.  Its pretty easy to imagine using multiple FD, since both the best chainers and finishers all use it. 2 Tidus chaining for Ang to finish, for example, is the most amount of damage possible at the moment.

Well there are a lot of reasons I personally don’t care about doing fd anything now or post-7*. Right now I have a beast Fryevia who can carry damage pretty hard. Or, if I really want to use a Tidus, I have a Tomb Raider to give him. With ADV 5 and a killer, I don’t even have room to give him an Orochi TMR. Post-7* I’ll have a Loren which is going to be glued to my team for basically ever. And I’ll probably use TTerra for my alpha strike murdering more than anyone else. And, down the line, I’ve got the makings of a very strong/near-BIS Hyou which I can pair with an Emp Shera. Damage I have in spades.

There's some really great limit animations that you don't really see in this game after you've got your high level teams set. here's an effortpost. Lid  Paula (friendpoint unit)  Sozhe  Grinfeld  VoTL (maybe not as underused as the others but still a great animation)  Ruggles (is he forging Rain's sword?)  Sazh  Iris  Nyalu (top tier animation)  Verun (he's making Sakura's glaive!) Ashteroze is top tier too. It’s like whoever did all those raid summon unit animations (Ash, Nyalu, Grinfeld, Sandee, and Kupolkan) was divinely inspired.

I continue to be amazed that really all character sprites and animations are fully-formed, from the throw-away useless toons to the top-tier. It's weird that the Devs don't add more "use character X to kill Y" or "form a team from FFxxx only" type missions, even as part of the daily challenges. There's gotta be 80+ animations I've never seen and may never will see.

I feel like I'm using Mystea wrong. I've been trying to beat the Ifrit 3 star fight and I wipe pretty much in the first or second turn despite her having 200% fire resist, decent SPR, and using her AOE cover. The cover seems to proc, the animation happens, but everyone dies. I'm also using Marie for resistance buffs. He also one-shot my Veritas of the Flame with a fire move??? Do you have a Provoke tank for all the regular attacks Ifrit dishes out? Mystea is useless for those.

Similar to the Tomb Raider collab, I do not understand why, if you're going to do a collab for a completely unrelated property, you would do it for a game that's 3 years now in that series and not the one that's coming out later in the year. You'd think the whole point would be to shine a light on your upcoming title.

I honestly had an inkling it would be monster hunter, since ff14 is getting a MH collab. This is just bizarre. I really hope they’re not something completely broken or have something like a Pod because I couldn’t care less about this banner. I didn’t care about Nier but at least they looked neat. These are just generic gundudes (and dudette).

I love that the most obvious collaborations, FFRK and MobiusFF, haven't been considered, especially since FFRK has a MobiusFF collab. I'm sure the whales that play both games would happily splurge to have a Tyro Keeper in FFBE and some nice equipment for Rain and Lasswell in FFRK.
