Am I being overly sensitive or is that a fat baby? When our kid was smaller (1-2) and the fam got ice cream, we would just get an empty cone for the bab. He was always happy as a clam. It blew his mind the first time he had a cone with actual ice cream in it.

Use a Dremel with coarse sander attachment, seriously. They even make a special pet grooming model but any ol version will do. Take 'er slow and easy and you never have to worry about cutting the quick.
