Never have I seen a manager less likely to make it through a whole season.

Marca and AS have about 30 pages to fill every day, but neither had any clue about Zidane leaving, nor the manager of the national team holding talks with the biggest club in the country just before the World Cup. Toilet paper.

Guardian is reporting Torreira as done. Midfield needs a lot of work, so hopefully he adapts quickly. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/jun/12/arsenal-sampdoria-lucas-torreira-agree-deal-transfer e: Ornstein is a bit more reserved. https://twitter.com/bbcsport_david/status/1006637146235723776

I’m just glad someone bought him so now he can stop being linked to everyone. E: I guess it’s an agreement in principal? Weird thing for a club to announce.

Jose posted:i wouldn't blame him at all but he seems a bad choice for spain with no preparation Yeah, Rafa isn't a "quick-fix" manager, he'd need time. I've always thought he'd be a great international manager, though. For a big nation, 90% of games are gimmies and for the other 10% it's about being hard to beat, which his teams are good at.

A quick fix is two weeks before with a dozen training sessions and a friendly for the new manager to work with, 2 days is promote the most senior assistant for the duration and hope for the best territory
