Something about the art on Fist is bugging the hell out of me and I am not even an artist. Can someone with more experience list why my brain thinks this looks all wrong? Besides the super lazy strips of cloth on his mask that is.

The vest and headscarf is a very old outfit but I'm pretty sure in that era the character was always clean shaven. Also I'm pretty sure the vest itself is wrong but phone posting so can't bale arsed to check.

I think it's probably how he is 75% shirtless all the time. The weekday artist isn't great with bodies and anatomy but does fine when people are clothed/in full costume and don't need accurate muscles/lines. Also the weekend artist puts about 10x more effort into his Iron Fist. I noticed it doing one of my edits since there was so much extra shading and detail.

His jacket looks very broad and isn't hanging naturally, so there's that too. Also, on the first panel, the perspective is wacky. Look at Danny's jacket, his bare chest, and then his legs. The upper body is angled down, but the legs aren't moving towards a vanishing point like they ought to - instead, they're a consistent width all the way down.

The artist can't figure out how to have the tattoo and put detail in the torso because with that design it'd be all weird tangent lines so it generally looks weird i guess
