Just get the base game though at least and see how you like it, you won't be missing out on any non-cosmetic multiplayer content and that's the meat of the game. It's hard to imagine a price drop or bundle anytime soon because the game still hits the top of sales charts in Japan like a year after release

I just finished a really difficult section and it was oh so satisfying and makes the easier levels seem like a cakewalk in comparison.
