What surprises me is how much I don't care for the Persona girls as romance options. They're really neat characters but I don't want to date any of them.

Yukari and Junpei are probably my favorite initial party members of the P3-P5 games. Not by a huge amount, but I like both of their voice actors and they have a good dynamic. Ryuji is pretty great. Yosuke, Chie and Ann I could go either way on. I'm not as hot on the rest of P3's party for sure.

I'm not done with P3 yet (near the end of october) playing as the girl MC, but they both just kinda...exist? I dunno if it's because P3P usually doesn't show 3D models or something but I feel like those two in particular are kinda bland. Well, also Fuuka. I keep forgetting Fuuka exists. But anyways I feel like Junpei is like Ryuji minus Kanji, and ends up mostly just being a horny teenager. Yosuke's pretty good until Kanji shows up, and then Japan's homophobia makes him obnoxious imo. And Chie annoyed me the entire time I played P4G.

I don't like most of the cast of P3 but Junpei and Yukari are pretty much the only people that feel like actual human beings. They're assholes, sure, but they're real. Also Junpei is awesome in P3P's girl route where his Social Link turns him into your completely platonic best bro.

just right of the dome, I'd say Yukari is probably the most realistic teenager in an RPG which I feel is why people hate her. Her chipper First Time Meeting You cadence becomes short and a little rude quickly because you're both seventeen and she does not care about this rando that has to live with her beyond what she has to. If you're a guy, you cannot interact with her alone until late in the game which is annoying for the bonus but makes total sense. She also gets weirded out if you try to turn a minor heartwarming scene into hugging her and her Link reverses, she just feels like a more put together person. Throughout P3, I feel like I always know where Yukari and Junpei's headspaces are at and why they're acting the way they do, everyone else feels like a blank sketch and they booooore me Expect My Mom fucked around with this message at 19:45 on Jun 7, 2018 |

I don't necessarily like Junpei or Yukari that much, but they seem like actual people. Akihiko and Mitsuru are just oblivious walls. I really like Ken when he's being an excited little kid telling me about power rangers, but then he immediately remembers that he "shouldn't" do that. I'm assuming if I get his social link farther it'll make more sense but As for non party members, I liked Maiko's SL a lot, probably because I also have divorced parents

Oh my God, the airlock puzzle at the end of the fifth palace can suck my dick for real. I'm grateful the enemies didn't respawn at least, but the rear end end of a huge dungeon is so not the time to switch gears like that. Edit: I will also say my first thought when I saw the glowy circle doors was "teleporter puzzle" and I'm also still glad it wasn't that. This is pretty much basic mystery logic: the killer is always the one you least suspect. Maybe they're the most sympathetic character who had no reason to do it(until the motive is revealed). Or maybe they couldn't possibly have done it and had the most airtight alibi (up to and including being dead). By that logic, the inverse is true: the most obvious suspect is never the real culprit and is always a red herring. Unless they are. Then it's a double twist where the obvious suspect turns out to be the culprit but the reader is surprised because they thought it was a red herring. Or the real twist was that the other characters saw through the facade as easily as you did and took steps to counter it.

Aside from the key part as explained by others there was one thing I noticed. While we were taking the Palace owners treasures. I noticed that we were given the negative impression that desire makes people evil. Yet in Confidants we were invoker theit inner desires to those we work alongside with. More importantly. The two targets Futaba and Sae we didnt really stole their treasure so much as redirected their desire in a more positive manner. Because there would be no way Futaba wpuld allow herself to live with the fact she led a group of hackers who nearly hacked a nation.

Hi friends. I'm running a Persona 5 themed Mafia game in The Game Room and still need more people to fill it out. So if you were ever thinking of giving forums based Mafia a shot, now is a good time The vets are pretty forgiving and willing to help new players, as well. There will be spoilers aplenty though so if you haven't finished and are worried by that you should probably not join.

RC Cola posted:I just finished the first dungeon. Any general tips on what to do in my spare days so I don't end up reading a guide? Just general tips The most general stuff: If you can advance a social link, do it If not, advance social stats Always carry a book with you, you'll get "random" times to read it on the bus or in class ALWAYS ALWAYS have a persona of the appropriate arcana when you talk to your social links. It doesn't have to be active, but does have to be in your current team Slightly more specific but not to the level of a walkthrough: Some days, you get better social stats from activities. Prioritize doing those. Examples include Monday/Thursday at the bathhouse giving bonus Charm and Rainy Days giving better knowledge at the restaurant Sundays you can go to the Underground Walkway and buy a special drink from the stand. This takes 0 time and gives you bonus points Feed your plant whenever you can, this also takes no time and gives stats Sometimes a quiz show will appear on TV. Answer it right, get a free point, takes no time

Always be on the lookout for better fertilizer. At the start feeding the planet gives you only 1 point in kindness but it does go up. The most important confidants for saving time our temperance and fortune. Temperance will lead to an increase in time slots to do activities and fortune allows you to buff relationship points with confidants without seeing them so if you are at the edge you can just buy the boost and be able to move on to the next rank.
