I think Too Human was already posted here but I suddenly remembered how a lot of assets for that game, and other Silicon Knights games, are lost forever after being seized by Canadian authorities when one of the lead developers got caught with tons of child pornography.

The Baldirs Gate?Everquest? Diablo-like offshoot for PS2, Champions of Norrath which I leant to my cerebral palsy friend and when I got it back it smelled like cat piss.

I just remembered about this insane JRPG/XCOM-like 360 exclusive called Operation Darkness where you played as a squad of allied vampire hunting commandos (including Frankenstein, The Re-Animator, Jack the Ripper and Van Helsing's granddaughter ) that fought against nazi vampires and cyborgs and the last boss was Hitler himself

Oh speaking of video game developers getting arrested, there was that time a bunch of Bohemia Interactive developers went down to Greece to get photographs to use in ARMA III’s development, and two of them were arrested and imprisoned by Greek military police for several months because they thought the devs may be secretly collecting intel on Greek naval infrastructure on behalf of the Czech government.

i just looked it up and theres tons of articles from like a couple months ago insinuating that the current leader of our left wing party apparnetly met with a czech spy during the cold war (?), trying to make a scandal out of it. so youre right . i guess they were involved in the cold war as a proxy of russia or something ... i dont really know anything about geopolitics

i loved FF6 as a kid, and found a guide in some discount store that my mom went to that was called like "COMPLETELY UNAUTHORIZED GUIDE". i thought it would have like unfound secrets that Square didn't want you to know about, but it was actually just low quality in terms of graphics and bad information.

I had that, it was as thick as a dictionary and had zero pictures but the reason it was so thick is because it cataloged every weapon/armor/item/enemy in the game but it didn't really impart any information on where to find them.

Oh yeah and my brother used it to beat the game and treated what it was saying like gospel and the guide recommended to level every character to like level 70 before you even attempt Kefka's Tower so he spent like 30 hours grinding in the world of ruin.
