I realize this makes me a noob, but I finally went through Eric B. and Rakim's albums and holy poo poo. It blows my mind that Paid in Full came out in loving 1987, Rakim's raps were on another level and still sound great. I also have Marley Marl's In Control Vol. 1 LP coming early next week and I am really looking forward to hearing it considering it isn't available on any streaming services or for download. Also listened to Nasir a few times. Definitely wasn't the album I was hoping for, but I really like Cops Shot The Kid and Adam & Eve.

He probably had the degrassi reunion idea for a while. It's like a super obvious thing to do. However like I thought at the time, that song and video don't match at all tonally. He totally used that idea on that lovely single because of Push.
