sometime last month after the DJ to the Raiders move I was surfing Twitter to see how Chiefs/Raiders fans were reacting, and I started looking through some Raiders beat writers mentions (I think Vic Tafur but maybe someone else) and I saw a Twitter handle called "warcrimes" and clicked on it and the bio read something like "I dont give a gently caress about your feelings" and the timeline was all either raiders or MAGA chud retweets I got a good chuckle out of it

I'm of the firm opinion that Josh Gordon is a sure thing, and I sort of count Duke Johnson as a sure thing as well. Combine that with Njoku's potential, and the only questions are can Coleman stay healthy, which as a #3 receiver doesn't matter as much as it used to and will Calloway pan out/stay out of trouble which if he does then Coleman's glass hands matter even less.

I'm not saying they're trash but there are questions but this also could be the best WR group the Browns have had in our lifetime. Johnson, Hyde and Chubb might instantly be the best RB trio in the league. Tackle is the only other concern, not a large one, though.

If the Redskins fire Jay Gruden the Cowboys should immediately fire Jason Garrett through the roof opening at Cowboys Stadium and give Gruden 101 million over 10 years

Jerry just loves him and Stephen likes him well enough to keep him around.

i think the difference is no one would be surprised if Jerry just up and fired Garrett on a whim. meanwhile Paul Brown is far too cheap to pay a buyout on Marvin and even without winning a playoff game, this is the longest sustained relevance the team has ever had. Marvin’s done when he chooses to be done. now he’ll probably be fired 2 games in

That was in the days of full on Martyball though so they were the entire offense, and only together for a couple of years. And Barry Word was only good for one year, and Okoye had been figured out by then. Whatever, young me loved that backfield even though I hated Harvey Williams more than he deserved to be hated.

Actually the closest thing to a great rushing trio last season, stretching the interpretation a little bit, would be Cam Newton, Jonathan Stewart and Christian McCaffery who combined for 1,869 yards (with Latavius Murray, Jerrick McKinnon and Dalvin Cook close behind although that situation is different due to the injury). The Eagles trio combined for about 1500 yards rushing which definitely isn't bad, but it makes sense that trios are only really a thing when you don't have a superstar runner. Keeping three excellent runners on the payroll doesn't make sense so running back by committee happens more when there's a lack of really top notch talent. The likeliest situation where I can see that happening is a team with a talented veteran RB who then drafts two different backs (hoping to hit on one) and then hit on both. Otherwise, there's really no reason to spread the ball around extensively beyond the the team's primary and secondary back. Play fucked around with this message at 19:56 on Jun 20, 2018 |

It was funny because after that season the Eagles realized that Brian Westbrook was better than Buckhalter or Staley(at that point in his career) and just made him a true number 1 back
