apparently we're still in for Mawson but idk if we need 2 new CBs

I think the plan is that we get 2 new CBs (be it Mawson or Marlon Santos) and move Rice into DM where he's been playing really well for Ireland.

I think the big problem is a creative midfielder now that Lanzini is out for the entire season.

One of the top papers for Sevilla transfer news said there has been definite interest from Arsenal in Banega

Don't really see him adapting to the physical game of the premier league but who knows, might be good for depth.

He'd be very nice to have given that Ramsey is always injured for a few games.

He's literally got the lot, scores goals, made more chances than any other player in the Championship last season, skins people for fun, scores free kicks and penalties, takes corners, is only 21, and amazingly for a footballer, appears to not be a dickhead. Probably the most gifted player to ever play for Norwich. Check out his sick youtube skills:

Willock is very likely to go on loan. Nelson the same. Maitland-Niles is an interesting one...hopefully get some coaching and experience heads to continue his development. This also lead me to look up and see what Zalem was up to and uhhh....yeah RIP him I guess. Probably need 2 players. Torreirra likely one and then N'zonzi and Banega? If they bring all 3 in I think Maitland-Niles goes on loan as well.

God, I can't imagine many things stupider than sending AMN on loan the literal instant he looked like he was finding his way in the first team.

Vegetable
Oct 22, 2010

He's not ready for Arsenal's first team, and a spell as first-choice at a smaller club would give him experience. That said, even with Torreirra, I don't think Arsenal has nearly enough depth to be loaning out central midfielders.

He looks perfectly comfortable in the first team now, let him sink or swim. He has to make the jump to the first team at some point and he's not going to do that at Hull. Regardless I don't think they gave him a new shirt number just to send him on loan so it's a moot point.
