Yeah - though you can probably tell by my SN that I love The Adventure Zone, I definitely agree that Griffin went waaaaaay overboard in trying to make a conclusion that would please everybody. The result was a lot of moments rendered empty by their saccharinity - it was especially bad at the part with the Bond Engine, which was really just an embarrassingly blatant attempt to inject as much fanservice as possible into the finale.
